Join us on the third Wednesday of every month for an informal meet up to discuss real estate with like-minded individuals in the Lake Norman area! This meeting is for wholesaler's, rehabber's, buy/hold, property management, commercial, residential, realtors, contractors, and lenders - newbies to advanced. Bring your business cards and come and network with us! The speaker for this month will be announced soon.

Although the meeting starts at 6:30, please feel free to come even if you are going to be late (we know how traffic and life can get in the way!). Going forward, we will probably aim to keep the meetings to an hour and if you want to stay after to network you are more than welcome!

We are beyond excited to announce that this month Steve Barnett with Elite Pensions will be teaching us all about setting up, borrowing, and lending out of Self-Directed IRAs. We have had a ton of people approach us asking how to do this so we are proud to be bringing in the company and person that we personally use. Don't think this applies to you? WELL IT DOES! This is an education that is essential when talking to potential private money lenders because a lot of people don't how powerful investing out of their retirement accounts can be!

Steve Barnett is the founder and President of Elite Pensions, LLC. Elite Pensions is a leading facilitator of self-directed retirement accounts and has been serving its clients for 14 years. Steve is a highly sought after speaker for self-directed retirement accounts. He has had more than 20 years of experience in international banking, finance, accounting, and systems development and has managed the banking, payroll and budgeting departments of a fortune 25 company. He has been the President and CFO of several international companies where he raised capital, took them public, and oversaw their international divisions. He has also structured several mergers and acquisitions.

@Caten Murphy, my name is Mark DiPietro and I’ve been talking with @Gabor Halasz about putting together a group in Mooresville when I was told about your meetup.

Before we create another get together, how is yours going?  Do you have info on the next meetup?

    Hey @Mark DiPietro!

Our meetup has been going great. We have been going virtual since COVID started and have had a great turnout and some really cool speakers, last one was 2x BP Podcast Guest AJ Osborne, talking about self-storage. We always meet (hopefully in person again soon) on the third Wednesday of every month, so next one will be August 19th at 6:30pm. If you send me your email I'll add you tot he email list and will send out/post the updates on the speaker once everything is confirmed.
