Lauren Speidel is the Regional Manager for Exeter 1031 Exchange Services, LLC, Exeter Reverse 1031 Exchange Services, LLC and its affiliate companies. Lauren is based in the company's Midwest Regional office located in Chicago, Illinois.
Lauren can assist clients with Forward 1031 Exchanges, Reverse 1031 Exchanges and Improvement 1031 Exchanges. She has worked extensively with financial planners, settlement agents, real estate agents and brokers, closing attorneys, registered representatives and accountants in the administration of their clients' 1031 Exchange transactions.
She'll be sharing her insights and experiences with 1031 Exchanges.
Whether you own 200 units or have no real estate experience, anyone who has an interest in real estate investing is invited to attend our General Meeting. Each month a different speaker will share information on topics relating to the many aspects of investing in real estate and being a landlord. Our General Meetings provide a great opportunity to network with experienced real estate investors from all over the Chicago land area. We also have an extensive real estate library for our members to use. The General Meeting is held on the 2nd Monday of each month.

Laura Baker, Real Estate Broker with Evergreen Real Estate for 24 years. Laura has managed her and her husband's portfolio for 25 years. She manages over 70 tenants in residential as well as commercial properties. She has knowledge of the housing programs. She has also flipped and rehabbed properties working hands-on throughout the projects. Laura has also been a speaker for the National Real Estate Investors Association on past cruises teaching property management. She is one of the six founders of the CAREIA - setting up the policies and procedures for the organization. As well as a past President for five years.
She will share how to get up and running with confidence in the area of managing your properties. Taking away your fear of the scary parts of owning real estate is her goal. Learn some great organizational skills and tools to use when talking to tenants. She'll help you find a path that best suits you when building a portfolio.
