Curious to know if anyone has ever used the Jefferson county tax collector site & the Alabama department of revenue site to check for delinquent properties and OLD information pops up (Jefferson county site) or no information is found (Alabama revenue site), then on another day.....the information is different/there.
This has happened to me twice so FYI if it is not there one day remember to check back another day.
I use it all the time and yes they do have problems. Look into using the Landbank for tax delinquent properties here. They help you acquire them with a clear title.

Glad to see I'm not the only one. Oh...and the landbank....I'm taking Phil my money on Monday!!! ;)
FYI: when searching properties in the landbank make sure you search by parcel number & not just the address. Some properties have the address wrong. I was looking for a property in Ensley and it kept popping up on the map as Norwood!
Let's connect and I can give you some advice. Too lengthy and complicated for here. The counties and the state are not on the same system. Especially with Jefferson County, many local problems. Also Land Bank not the panacea it's advertised to be.
