All, I am a newbie working on my marketing budget. And need a few numbers to help calculate the cost per deal. On average how much do you spend a month on PPC, and how many deals made through your PPC efforts? Feel free to DM me if you do not want to share in a public post.

Hey Candyce!
I'm a wholesaler but also run PPC for a ton of investors across the country. Take every answer with a grain of salt, because it highly varies what market you are in. On average, expect a 3-5X return on your money in the long-run, if your campaign is setup and managed properly. This could mean spending $20k to make $60k in DC, or spending $3k to make $10k in Delaware (my market). If you are in an expensive market and have a small budget, I wouldn't recommend PPC if you want any significant deal flow. In my market of Delaware, I have spent about $25k a year to make about $100k with about a dozen deals, on average. But Delaware is cheap and those numbers will be different for your market. In NorCal, especially near the city, you will probably be spending $6-$10k per month to get any sort of significant traction. I wouldn't recommend doing PPC in NorCal unless you have at least $20-$30k set aside for it before getting a return, and even that may not be enough. Depends on your business model as well, and how much you profit per deal.
