Unfortunately, the 75 hour Pre-Licensing Course is not available online in New Jersey. You are actually required to attend the class in person! Your best option is to google "New Jersey real estate schools" and look for a provider who offers the classes near you. I took the course through the Weichert School of Real Estate. There is no obligation to sign up with them as your broker after becoming licensed (I actually end up at RE/MAX). Hope this helps!

There is no online course in NJ. I had to go in person. You can either go for 2 weeks and cram the whole 75 hours in there or you can spread it out across 3 months.

@Zain B. the comment from @Giovanni Maggipinto was spot on. Take a look into different schools most have full time, part time or even weekend classes that you can attend. Heres a list of schools that offer the 75 hour course, the list comes directly from the state

@Vaughn Smith thanks for the info. I started taking classes close to home. Anyone have an idea as to how long it takes for you to get your license (i.e. soonest you can get a license and start working with a broker) once the classes are completed?

@Jay Chang the course costs around $400 including the real estate book. And yes, you save on commission that would have gone to the buyer's agent if you are the buyer
