Looking for an investment opportunity within Central Jersey?

I'm a first home buyer looking for a property where the town is being gentrified. As far type of property, I'm looking at condos, townhouses and single family homes. Within the 3 year plan is to move out of the property and rent. Currently looking at:

- Perth Amboy

- Rahway

- Somerset

-Edison

-New brunswick

Any thoughts or ideas would be deeply appreciated. Any other towns or strategy?

    @Raysa Fis Sayreville. Central to all major highways. Bus to NYC. Highly recommend.

    all great towns. anything closer to NYC or close to public transportation is gold mine in NJ.

    Hi Raysa. I would add South Amboy, Somerville, Keyport, Sayreville, and Franklin Twp to your watch list as well. I've been seeing some good changes going on in those towns.

    @Raysa Fis Hi There! In addition, you should add Raritan to the list. It’s a smaller town but demand is becoming very high in Somerville driving up the prices. However, there are streets that are currently in transition in Somerville.
