Types of Liens and red flags to look out for.
My local Sheriff sale is offering a property within my budget for the total amount of unpaid taxes for the property. I did a records search on the home and found that the owners were issued a mortgage for the property.
My question is what are the red flags to look for? If i pay for this property at the sheriff sale is it mine or will it be co-owned by the mortgage company?
