Filing for an Out-of-State Foreign LLC in Texas

Does anyone know if Texas requires a filing with the state and what that process looks like when using an out-of-state LLC? I know some states do and some do not.

I appreciate the help!

@Blaine Moore Oddly enough, I ran into this issue recently where it seemed pretty clear that the State of Texas did not require the Cert of Foreign Qualificiation for real estate purposes however in our case the LENDER required that we still got the Foreign Qual Cert for the CA LLC. Unfortunately, this cost a few hundred dollars.

A little late to the response here. But, if you're still searching then yes, you would need to file with the state as a Foreign or Out-of-State Entity.
