Does anyone invest in the Savannah Market? What are your current strategies? I recently started working with an investment group and we are doubling down in Savannah. I would love to network with like-minded individuals that are interested in this area.

Great to see investors in the same area! Quick question... Do you guys have good recommendation for flooring people ? I am planning to remove carpet and put luxury vinyl planks... Might need somebody to install that.

I have a guy that did my floors in Pooler. He removed and disposed of the carpet, laid vinyl flooring, and painted the entire house. PM me and I'll forward the info.

Just had an offer accepted on a SFR property on E 38th St, my first property in Savannah. Since I live about 4 hours away, I'll be using property management. From the research I've done, Judge Realty seems to have the best reviews for PM. Anyone here have any experience with them?
Also, just curious as to everyone's take on the local market forecast. Based on what research I've done so far, it looks positive (otherwise I wouldn't have invested there!) but I'm always curious to hear from as many local investors as possible.
Ive had a SFR in Savannah for a couple years now. Currently using Market South Management for PM. Would love to get into some MFs in Savannah in the future. Dylan, what group are you in?

I used Judge for over three years in the Historic District (SFR) - they had some turnover on the Management side - but the new guy they have (Danny Worsley) is fantastic. Would recommend. I recently sold - but love the Savannah market and will be looking for more opportunities down there (likely in Starland District or by the area you bought in). Good luck!

Hi!
I'm looking at the Savannah market, and would like some ideas/advice from local investors. This would be my first jump outside of my residential area, so I'm trying to be well prepared. The plan is for sfh, buy and hold with tenants, maybe expand to Air B&B. Looking for low purchase price in C neighborhoods, since the goal is cash flow, not so much appreciation. (My primary tool has been the MLS, just to get to know the areas and pricing.) I have a GC lined up, but would like to have options. Specifically, requesting your professional opinions on the following:
1.) areas/ neighborhoods?
2.) closing with a title company or lawyer? recommendations?
3.) GC?
4.) PM?

Was interested in the savannah market as well. If anyone could share a real estate agent, contractors, etc they’ve used that would be greatly appreciated. Also, what are cheaper budget areas that aren't to “bad”...
I just recently started investing in the Savannah market and have two SF. Would love to connect to start looking at multifamily or apartment buildings!
