How do I look for flippers and look for off-market properties?

I am in my undergrad at Columbia University but originally from upstate SC. The Charlotte market is incredibly interesting to me but networking remotely has been a problem (unable to attend REIA meetings). I would love to speak with flippers or to get suggestions for how I can connect with them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

@Ned Roche find great off-market deals (by marketing to motivated sellers).  Put the deals under contract, email them to cash buyers in your area.  BOOM! you have a wholesaling business.  You can also buy lists of cash buyers from findcashbuyers.com or similar services, or simply use Trulia heat maps to filter for cash transactions in your target areas and build your own lists. Finding flipper (cash buyers) is easy if you can find deals to attract those buyers.
