How can we inspect properties when buying out of state/overseas?

When coming accross what looks like good deals, say on Zillow or Redfin etc, how are we able to inspect the properties to make sure nothing major is wrong with them when we’re not physically there?

#1...have your realtor go look in person.
#2...look at google street view.
#3...once you have a contract hire a professional inspector.

@Nathan Asher Robson . Look up a local inspectors and have them do the work. The report you will get is thorough with pictures and a list of “must haves” and “nice to haves”. If you have a trustworthy Real Estate agent, then this can be enough. I just did it for 5 properties OOS and I can tell you the relationship with the Seller made all the difference.
