Hi everyone,
I am a student at the University of Washington, and a couple friends and I who frequent BiggerPockets thought it would be a great idea to start a REI club on campus. We believe bringing in local investors to speak to the club would be an amazing educational/networking opportunity. I thought I'd post this here to gauge whether any local investors would be willing to speak to a group of interested students? I know there are extremely knowledgeable people on here that students would love to hear from.
Of course, there is no commitment necessary, but I would love to hear what you guys think of the idea. We are in the process of setting up the club and it would be extremely helpful to know if there are any local investors interested.
I just visited my sister in Seattle... That is one crazy market. Everything is going all cash for Way, Way over asking. Not an easy place to buy a home.
There was another group that had a meeting in the Hub a couple of months ago. You might want to try to reach out to them to see if there are any synergies that can be accomplished. Not sure if you know about them (or were a part of that group). I tried to do a quick search for it on the forums but couldn't find it...
Hi Nghi,
Do you know if the meeting in the hub was organized by a UW organization? We checked to see if there were any RE clubs on campus and couldn't find any
