Has anyone heard of or worked with Peter Rex?

Hi all,

I haven’t posted here in awhile, but always turn to the BP community when doing some research.

Curious if anyone has ever heard of, done business with, etc. a gentleman named Peter Rex? He is “creating the future of real estate” through a venture studio, and on the surface his companies are doing interesting things. My conversations have been largely technology focused. They approached me as a potential LP and while the concepts sounded interesting, due diligence has turned up a whole lot of nothing.

That said, he is a self-proclaimed real estate billionaire who has been in REI for 16 years and has purchased 20,000 units. For a player that big, it felt strange to not find any information on him in the normal REI communities. I honestly couldn't find anything outside of media interviews and a few podcasts, almost all of which talking about his new companies.

Just wondering if anyone has any more detail or workings with Peter, his real estate dealings, or any of his prop tech companies?
