Hello all, I am a realtor in the state of Florida and want to expand into GA. Any recommendations on the best company to take my pre-licensing course with? What website should I visit to get information on what GA requires? The internet gives me back so much options and I am not sure what to trust.
I'm not sure if you decided on a school yet, but I took my pre-license course at Georgia MLS Institute (in-class). I've also heard good things about their online courses. I've taken online courses with Georgia Institute of Real Estate (GIRE) for CE and always enjoyed their formatting. I recently took the in-class broker's course with Barney Fletcher. Met some great people and they were reasonably priced but their materials were quite antiquated (what exactly am I paying $400-500 for?). Hope that helps.
It was my understanding that you would only need to take the Georgia law portion of the exam since Georgia/Florida had reciprocity. Do you also need to take a full course? I've never looked into it. Good luck in any event.
Honestly, what's best for me may not be what's best for you. However, I really liked the OnCourse learning program. It was online and self paced. Plus I did the weekend crash course.
