Renters Blamed for HIA order

I was readIng across a forum today where it had someone talking about renting a house to a tenant who put a HIA order on there old rented house. I find this topic quite entertaining as the landlord seems to blame us the tenants for the HIA order. Saying that we should discuss repairs first and that we are just scum playing the system to get our rent reduced...

I would just like anyone who has that mind frame to take a step back and put your damn selfs in our shoes.

No I have never done a HIA order but I tell you want every single of my rented houses needed one!!

If you have a HIA order against you.. It is because the tenant has exhausted requesting matinence requests to you. Is it because it was the last option. HIA orders are only carried out with proof that you have exhausted all options with the landlord of the house you rent.

YOUR house as the landlord is the one on HIA order, so your the scum. Your the scum that doesn't fix things and makes your house INHABITALE by humans. That is the only time a HIA order is put on so you are the scum.

Your the one getting a free ride.. Your the one with the illegal house that's falling to bits that you just keep renting out and not fixing. Your getting the free ride by not fixing it, you mate, you as the landlord, not us as the tenant. Really ask yourself, how are we getting a free ride when your just gonna kick us out anyway.

If you are getting a HIA order and have an issue with your tenant for complaining then it is you that should suffer, not the tenant.

Be accountable for your crappy houses!!
