Single-family residence fix & flip investment.
Purchase price: $88,000
Cash invested: $40,000
Sale price: $229,900
This was a fix and flip we purchased in Wright, WY... a town about 45 minutes away from our local market. This was a HUD foreclosure that needed a lot of work. The purchase price was $88,000 and we put nearly $100,000 into the renovation. We pre-sold it to some buyers I was working with as an agent. We sold it to them for $229,900 after about five months of owning the property.
@Levi Kissack congrats on your investment!
Great job!! I haven't seen a HUD home on the market here in Cheyenne for a while that was priced well enough to make money on a flip. We've been creating leads off market.
@Levi Kissack , congratulations. I have seen massive swings in the real estate in Wright over the last 4 decades. From massive shortages for housing to 4 out of 5 houses empty. How is the market now with the coal issues Gillette is having? It is a pretty area, and nice get away from Gillette.
