How is Charlotte NC for multi family investing?

I would like to know how is Charlotte ,NC for multi-family investing? or if it's mostly good for single family investing. Appreciate your feedback.

    i have done very well in the suburbs of Charlotte for Multi Family. Numbers can be very good.

    I think Charlotte is good for all markets, it just depends on the area. It's a very large area to actually be so small. I now call it my Mini NY

    What do you mean by good? We have purchased a few multis within the last year and have had no problem keeping them occupied. With that said, existing multi family has been relatively tough to come by in the metro. Coming from other market places I have noticed a lack of inventory in available (not new or recently built) multi family deals. 

    Single family has been great for us as well. If you have a good sourcing avenue, there is no reason single family investing would be less than successful in a low inventory market like this.
