Atlanta Investors. Do you have any information about the 30310 Area code?

Hi Chudi -

I've been looking closely at this area for another rental. I agree with Rick that the area varies by street and also it depends on your purpose. I would say "no" to anything by Elizabeth Street and south of Avon. Perkerson Park has families around it, but at night there is a lot of gang activity. The west finger north of the cemetery is bad, but east of the cemetery down to Beecher is ok. West End is good. Anything close to Donnelly Ave is ok but the further south you go away from Donnelly and closer to Avon the worse it gets. There are some good pockets around Ft. McPherson as well.

You really just have to drive it at day and at night.

    Hi Chudi -

I do ... but like many other Atlanta zip codes, you have to be more specific - almost down the block.

I've finished a project in the Historic West End and have another one going on the market next week. Adair Park and Westview are spotty. Outside of that, I'm less familiar and confident.

Hedge fund is definitely there. I am currently rehabbing a home in Historic West End that I'm confident will do well. If your in Historic West End the ARV is higher anything outside you may not get the higher comps (to my understanding). It's very spotty. You can get a nice profit but be prepared it may sit for a while.

@Chukwudi Motanya what specific questions did you have about 30310? I am putting a deal under contract today in 30310 actually.

Thanks for the responses everyone. I wish I knew how to @ tag people but it does not work for me for some reason so I hope you all see this. The property is in the Maryland Avenue area SW.

    Anny information would be helpful!
