Spreadsheet for construction and carrying costs

Any good templates or ideas for creating my own for a four unit that needs extensive rehab.  The other part of it is the lot is large enough to put another fourplex on. it - how do I put that into a spreadsheet.  Thanks for the advice!

Hey Brendan,

We used Google Sheets for about 6 years (excel prior) to manage our flips. We are a small size team, I’d say. We were doing about 4-5 projects at a time. The issue we were running into was formulas getting mixed up, cells being deleted, rows being added and then some cells being omitted from calculations - so I rebuilt our entire system. We use QBO for accounting and have a google sheet that automatically feeds any transactions for that property over, but we have a custom built software that handles all of the calculations now. Super helpful.

Just be cautious if you go the spreadsheet route and double check all formulas and calculations.
