Finding Off Market Multi-Family Properties in York/ Hanover PA

Hello everyone,

I am a investor looking to kick my portfolio off with a Multi unit property. My fiancee and I are looking to house hack the property while we continue to search the market for the next real estate opportunity. I am looking for advice on finding off-market properties. What killer strategies have you developed or tried that I am not aware of? Currently I have access to mls, zillow, realtor... I have also driven for dollars.

Thank you for the advice and the support!

    @Silas Murren

    Make sure you attend local REIA meetings, you never know who you might meet there.

    You should also get a list of all properties that meet your specs (i.e, 2-4 unit properties) from your county records office. Some require a FOIA request, others a simple email.

    Check them out on Google Maps and see what strikes you. You can get owner/tax info on the county website and start contacting the owners. Out of state owners are often more inclined to sell due to remote management constraints.

    Hopefully, you'll find a gem in the mix and best of luck to you and your fiancée!

    @Silas Murren best of luck finding that property. Sharing this article I came actoss on BP about what title companies can do for investors

    You may just want to call a few up and see what info they could provide you
