renting a garage separately south NJ

Hey everyone,

I recently bought a property and I’m considering renting out the garage separately. I wanted to see what people think would be a fair monthly rental rate and also where you’ve had success advertising spaces like this.

Details:

• Approx. 1.5-bay garage
• Heat included
• Electric included
• WiFi included
• Plenty of parking
• Easy access
• Good fit for storage, hobby work, contractor supplies, small business overflow, etc.

For those who have rented garage/workshop/storage space before:

1. What do you think something like this could realistically rent for?
2. Where have you had the best luck finding tenants? Facebook Marketplace? Craigslist? Neighbor? Commercial sites?

Would appreciate any advice or experiences you guys have had with similar setups. Thanks!
