Is Anyone Using Baselane for rent collection with a voucher tenant?

Hello,

I searched the articles on Baselane's website, BP, and Reddit.  I can't seem to figure out how to structure the tenant's portion of the rent while showing that a portion is being paid by the housing department.

Can anyone advise here?

Why not just make it simple enough to outsmart the software? Set the unit up as 101-A for Tenant, and 101-B for Housing Dept., and divide the rent accordingly.  After all, it's 2 sources of rent payment, they both have to pay, and will pay at different times.  If Rent is $1300, set up Tenant to have a monthly receivable for $300 (for example) for 101-A, and a separate monthly receivable for HD for $1000.  I'm just getting into Baselane, but my understanding is they also offer an option to "split transaction amongst properties or units" and have "separate collaborator logins." (From their site.)

I'd be interested in how they operate as well.  I'm very skeptical of fintech companies who try to make things easier for landlords (with little to no knowledge of real estate).
