Smart locks weren't as reliable a few years ago, but they've come a long way. It seems to be the way things are going.
For the property management teams that have not yet made the switch to centralized keyless access with smart locks, what challenges have you run into that prevent you from making the switch to keyless operations?
For the property management teams that have gone completely keyless, how did you do it?
I'm trying to making switching to keyless as easy and as painless as possible.

It helps if you have a system that can integrate and manage all the locks. Especially when you have multiple properties.
Develop a list of things you want from a lock, or take a shortcut and go with what the majority of investors use. I personally use Schlage encode plus and Ring doorbell camera combination. You can set multiple passwords and you can set time limits (1hr, couple hours, 2 days, same time every day etc) for the access as well which is good. Whenever someone uses their code, you get a notification on the app.
The only downside is the battery lasts about 6months. I have heard that some locks have a longer battery life.
