Hi Everyone,

I myself own 2 rental properties and just started working with a business partner on my first flip in Fairview.

I am building 8 plexes with my partner in Halifax. He is also a Realtor if you need Realtor help. and we are also doing other land developments including subdivision and some quick flips or severances to add another lot. connect with me anytime. cheers

@Janelle Poushay it’s great to see local people engaging on this platform! The BP podcasts, calculators, books etc. really do offer so much information.
I’m an investor with a mix of residential and commercial properties in the HRM and other parts of the province. I work in Insurance, can refer you to the professionals on my team, and am always happy to offer opinions (which are likely worth what you’ll pay for them: nothing, haha).
One thing I will say is, the deals ARE OUT THERE. Lots of people talking price and rent challenges; don’t be distracted by the noise
There are some great HRM focussed Facebook groups you could join too, if you haven’t already.
I'm also a real estate investor in Halifax, currently have one rental in fairview. Really love the area. Which property are you flipping? There's a few on the go at the moment.

I'm a real estate investor in Halifax too. I currently househacked a duplex in Bedford and own another rental in Kentville, trying to acquire a small apartment building at the moment. I always welcome any opportunities to connect with a fellow investor and maybe exchange ideas and opinions. And it's awesome to see more Nova Scotia investors jumping on BP !

Good luck Janelle third property is an accomplishment that you should be proud of for sure. I definitely look forward to hearing how this story ends.
