Anyone here buying properties in New Bern, NC? I’m working on a deal there and thought it’d be great to connect with others who have experience or interest here. Would love to hear your thoughts on the market, any investment opportunities you've explored, or any insights you've picked up.
The hype is that it is absolutely adorable! We drive through New Bern to get to the outerbanks. We stop and picnic at the harbor as a little break. Unfortunately I cannot help you with connections- but I can totally understand the hype.

It is adorable and reasonable as recently as a couple of years ago when I was looking around but like the Midwest so many are fond of it is in the middle of nowhere. I kind of lump it in with the remote eastern shore towns in VA. Cute and growing but unlikely to get the point where I would consider investing there.
