Our Crowdfunding Network Is Growing Part 14
Today is day 2 of our Linden deal being live on iFunding. We're set to do a webinar on Tuesday of next week and I expect we'll be fully subscribed at some point next week. I guess we'll see how that goes.
Our Fundrise network was very active this week and we grew to 93 investors with $7.25M to invest. Hopefully we'll make it to 100 next week. We're work on our publicity and our new website which should kick-start a lot more activity on all of our portals. I received many emails and calls this week from folks interested in investing and wanting to learn more about the strengths and weaknesses of each site.
We're all set for a third meeting with David Lavan and Fundrise next week to discuss how everything works. Hopefully we can get that train moving again and start out with our Regulation A placement. We're meeting with the PR company for the second time to try to get our branding, etc. correct.
I also heard that the CFIRA will be hosting a crowdfunding conference in Austin this May. I am working to get a panelist spot at the conference and our fund's CEO will probably be a speaker. That should be a blast when everyone flies in. Austin is beginning to be a pretty big city and is getting more conferences like this given a lot of our new infrastructure. Hopefully they'll rotate back through annually to discuss current topics.
Overall this was a very productive week. Hopefully we'll have a 2nd crowdfunded deal in the works soon. The deal I found this week we'll be doing through a JV partner until we see how things go with the 1122 Linden deal. I expect to have a 2nd project on a crowdfunding site in March at some point.
