Coulda, shoulda, woulda

I keep thinking to myself that I need to post more, I need to do more videos, but what am I going to post? I am new, I don't have much to say. Who wants to watch my ugly mug on a video saying nothing? Well, that doesn't matter. Do you want to be known? Then you have to get out there? Do you want to be heard? Then you have to say something! I may be new, but I do have at least one wholesale deal under my belt, so I can speak to the lessons that it gave me there. I may not like to see my own face on videos, but I am not making them to watch them myself, I am making them to get my face out there, so I am known, and people can know my credibility in what I am doing by what I am talking about and what I am showing to others. They can know what I am trying to do, because I can tell them without even having to meet up face to face. I do hope to meet them, so that way I can help them, but maybe it isn't them that I need to help, but like in the case of my first deal, it is their neighbor that I need to help. Someone will pass on the information if you show them that you are the right person for the job.

So, with all that in mind, I redid my web site completely. I changed my logo (which means I am going to have to get new business cards, sigh), and most importantly, I changed my web site hosting to carrot.com. I don't know how many of you are already familiar with this hosting, but it is very worth it. they are designed to help real estate investors, in whatever part of the game that you are in, whether a wholesaler like I am doing right now, a fix and flipper, an agent, or if you are looking to buy and hold. I normally don't talk up other products like this, but I have not seen another back end site that is dedicated specifically to people in real estate. I was using GoDaddy, and don't get me wrong, they are decent for what they are, but they are just a general host.

Yes, yes, I have rambled on a bit. That's okay. If you read this far, thank you for reading! I am trying to get more into the social media side of things, understand what I need to do to market myself and my company in this day and age, and this is all part of the process. I am sure as I learn and grow, I will have more things to say that may help others.
