You can Make your own Luck!

You have the power to create your own fortune. Here’s some ideas on how…

  1. Declare your own destiny - Ordering Chinese just to crack open a fortune cookie? Don’t wait for your next delivery of General Tso’s. Proclaim your own providence: “I will get that (fill in the blank) tomorrow!”
  2. Chat people up – You never know – that woman standing behind you in the grocery line could be your new best friend, your next boss, your next tenant, a new buyer. You’ll never find out if you don’t break the ice.
  3. Pay if forward – Give back in whatever way feels right, whether you hold the door for your mom with a stroller of help build a Habitat for Humanity home. Not only will the deed boost your karma tenfold, but it will also make your feel good!
  4. Just do it – Sick of sitting at home waiting for the right deal. Quit looking at properties online. Get out there and walk, bike, drive some neighborhoods. You just might hit the jackpot.
  5. Take a fresh path – We’re all creatures of habit, for sure. But switch up your route (and routine), and you just may stumble upon something amazing. In fact, this simple move is a proven creativity booster.
  6. Go with your gut – Those feelings really mean something, so go with them – at work, at home, even on offers.
  7. Bounce back big – So, today felt kind of unlucky. No worries. Brush yourself off and know that tomorrow will be better – because you said so.
  8. Tell yourself this – “I’m a lucky person.” Believe it, and you’ll start to see all the ways it’s actually the truth.
