America's Best Chef Opens Second Miami Restaurant

If you're looking for something a little extra special when it comes to dining out in Miami, you'll want to check out the newest restaurant from America's Best Chef. After a wildly successful opening of his first Miami eatery, the chef has now opened a second location that is sure to delight foodies from all over. Featuring seasonally inspired dishes and an extensive wine list, this new hotspot is not one to miss. So if you're thinking of hitting up Miami sometime soon, be sure to add this place to your list!

One of America's top chefs, Thomas Keller, is investing more in Miami.

According to Keller, who previously opened the Surf Club Restaurant in Surfside, one of his French bistros, Bouchon, will debut in Coral Gables in early 2023 in a landmark structure.

On Yountville, close to his three Michelin-starred restaurant The French Laundry, there is a restaurant called Bouchon that specializes in traditional French fare made with seasonal ingredients and a raw bar. This historic location appealed to Keller, thus the restaurant will be located in the almost 100-year-old renovated La Palma building as part of an ongoing real estate and restaurant revival close to Giralda Plaza's "restaurant row."

On the phone, Keller stated, "We looked at it and fell in love. We disregard market research. It was solely because of the area's history and geography. We want Bouchon, a local restaurant, to be a part of the Coral Gables community.

While supper at The French Laundry or his New York Per Se is a four-dollar-sign affair, Bouchon is one of Keller's most reasonably priced eateries. His Surf Club restaurant, which received one of Florida's first Michelin stars last month, needs meticulous menu planning if you want to eat there for less than $100 per person. Keller was first drawn to South Florida in 2018 by the Surf Club building's history as a playground for the affluent, the Rat Pack, and that "golden age."

Coral Gables is a great city, and this announcement just makes it better.
