Change is not easy at all

Change is never an easy thing. We are preprogrammed to continue on the same path. Come to think about it that would probably be why it's so easy to make habits that are easy and hard to mark habits you don't want to do.

My wife and I embarked on a new journey this week. We hired a dietician to help us get in better shape. You may be asking yourself wait, Jason, why are you talking about this when these blogs are about business? Two reasons, when you are a business owner they intertwine, and the other, well its changes, and the lessons I'm learning affect business and personal

So we bit the bullet and hired a dietician. I was excited and still am excited but with the change, there are obstacles to overcome. The first 3 days of my new diet I was a zombie, like walking dead level, I could think correctly and definitely didn't have any energy. It was like I was in a fog for those three days. Today I woke up full of energy!!!!!!! You see, my body was going through what we do in business and life, sometimes. The change in what I am eating was affecting my body and it was taking its time to adjust itself to the new environment.

That sounds familiar to us, all right? The market is shifting right now and what are we all doing? We are evaluating our business and figuring out how to maximize it in the coming months to a year. Our business may feel like a bit of a slog just like my body did for 3 days. Guess what though, my body has come out the other side too and our businesses will too if we force the hard change.
