Buyer's Presentation
Everyone knows about Listing presentations. Everyone has one, (whether it's good or not is another story). However, how many people actually do buyer's presentations? I saw an interesting article that quoted NAR saying something like before they buy, most people see that 50% of a Realtor's job is finding the right house. The, after the transaction, something like 80% say it's guiding them through the process. I do a lot of web marketing that starts with Homes for Sale in Edmond, OK. They find a home they like which makes them think that they don't need a Realtor as much.
A lot of people think that they can kind of navigate through the home buying process on their own, and sometimes it works out. However, with our typical transaction files usually around 50 pages, that leaves a lot of room for potential trouble for someone who doesn't know what they're doing. How do we, as the real estate community, communicate to home buyers that they don't know what they don't know? That sounds confusing at first, but most home buyers just don't know that they don't know. So, the big question is how to we communicate that to them?
I think I will start implementing buyer's presentations as well. From what I understand, most people who have done this in the past actually spend less time and have less complications down the road. What do you think?

education is key Zach. The better informed you can make your buyer the happier they will be in the long run, and the more likely they are to provide referrals.
