Jon, I have a picture of a standing desk that doesn't look to difficult to build. Don't know if you are handy or have the tools but, it's worth a shot.

I have a sit/stand at work. Some days you just want to stand cause your always on the go. But then you can change it and sit for a while and relax ;)

I'd like to try the standing desks, but not shell out the bucks for the experiment. Maybe I'll just put some cinder blocks under the desk legs....
