Minor hiccup

I opened escrow. It is simple. All you have to do is bring them a signed contract, earnest money and your job is done. The inspections were schedule today (04/04/16), but the tenant refused to open the door. Not a big deal because I negotiated a $7,000 reduction in price to compensate for not getting an inspection. I was able to get a pool inspection. The pool will cost $6,000 to repair.

I lost a bid on a probate house yesterday. It hurt, but I did not want the house originally. At the last minute, I decided to call the owner. I know if I would have given her an offer sooner, I would have it. I told her to call me if they violate the contract or if they ask for an extension. I will be following up May 13.

I did not get any phone calls this week. It happens since I send out mail every 2 weeks. That is going to change because mail will start going out once a week. Yeah, I'm ramping it up.

I doubt anyone reads this, but I wished others had written about the things that happened when they started out. It'll be fun to read these in the future when I'm killing it.
