Keeping everyone calm is key!

Keeping everyone calm is key!

Yes yes yes.  As we all know sometimes last minute things come up before closing that sends some or all parties in a transaction into a tizzy that make 400 ft. roller coasters look like a walk in the park.

The View

So this week we have three closings we are coordinating and ALL of them have had changes that needed attention!  We have had funding changes, closing attorney changes, funding and attorney changes, Buyer changes, title updates, whew!

In and of themselves, none of these are a big deal but all these changes at the same time requires a little bit of energy.  What I am reminded of in this situation is the power of staying calm and confident in communication delivery.  A reassuring voice to the other party on the phone goes a long way to give them the comfort they need that the transaction is going to be fine.  And sure enough it will be fine as we have cleared up just about everything now.  But those little words 'We need to make a change' three days before closing bring such instant stress to in many cases so being confident in your delivery is key to keeping fear where it belongs, out of the transaction!

We are excited, humbled and thankful to have these three closings this week and have used it as an opportunity to grow through reminder of what we already know.  A blessing it is!
