angry not so motivated seller

Well, I got my first angry not so motivated seller. I was attempting to be natural and gather some information. I got as far as, "What are you looking to sell the property for?"...his response, "I'm not looking to sell, I just want to see what your offer was." Yikes, I will analyze and determine what I wish to offer. Maybe that will give him a reason to be angry because it will not be what he wants.

  1. It is part of the job . . . don't let it bother you; move on. You'll experience stuff like this over and over, and the faster you can get past it, the faster you'll close on that next deal.

  2. Maybe you should tell him that if he's not looking to sell, you shouldn't be there wasting his time ... (actually yours).
