Buying more shorts

Here I go again. I started buying shorts back in November. I did not know that much about them in the fall, but now have a fairly good idea how they work. The short market wss great in the winter and early spring, but seemed to dwindle, at least for me, the the late spring and most of the summer. I had quite a few fall through as the banks were able to play their games with us. Now, as we move into fall, it seems that the short market is coming back a bit. I have closed more lately and have a few more on the line. Any one out there have any input on this?
