Day 4 Wholesaling

I can quote Ice Cube and say "Today was a Good Day", my to do list did not get completed but I can not complain about my progress, I was able to meet with my mentor and pick up a check $$$ who hoo!!! Wholesaling is real and doable, but honestly its not easy and you must be persistent. I can honestly say it took quite a bit of work. What made things easier was having someone to bounce questions and ideas off of.

So to my to do list; I was able to finally get through to the IRS and get my EIN number situation corrected. I needed that to open my second bank account for the business. Its good to see something go from a thought to a period of incubation. When I leave in the morning from home I pass a new overpass that is being built on the expressway, and I tell myself if someone can elevate concrete over 50ft in the sky certainly I can create a profitable business. This is continuous motivation for me and the more the overpass is developed the more I must develop my business.

Even though I am excited about getting compensated on my first deal I am extremely motivated to use the money to ramp up advertisement. I will be getting the SEO done on my site so it can generate leads, enhance my mailing campaigns, and place ads in the local paper. My mentor was excited about me making some money but he is a little disappointed that I am not making more progress (great he's challenging me and I need that). Tomorrow I may have a lead from my realtor so hopefully we can get something going on but I need to create a strong lead generation vehicle to increase my presence in the industry. I need to think out of the box and not replicated everything everyone else is doing. My mentor said today that List Source is a good start to reach possible motivated sellers but there is a lot of competition because everyone know to start there, so he gave me some good tips. I am a great listener and something he said today triggered a possible marketing tool to try that I have not heard anyone else mention. I will expound more once I try this technique to see if it generates some leads. Stay tuned in for this.

Oh, no offers made today I was in the field all day but I made a promise to myself to make at least one offer a day.

I love this quote of yours. Very positive outlook on things.

  2. Congratulations on a check. Your doing well if you are already getting paid. I'll be interested in hearing how your new idea works.
