Free Foreclosure Seminar in Reno

The Reno/Sparks Association of Realtors® (NSAR) will be joined at their offices (5650 Riggins Court) by the Realtors® Care Network on Saturday, May 8, 2010 from 10am-4pm to hold a free foreclosure seminar in Reno.  The Realtors® Care Network was created through grant money to help Nevada homeowners avoid foreclosure on their property.  At the free seminar, homeowners in danger of losing their homes to foreclosure will be given the opportunity to meet with HUD-approved counselors to find out what their options are in possibly avoiding a foreclosure.  If you plan on attending this event and taking advantage of the wealth of information and options provided, you must bring copies of the following with you:

  • Your monthly mortgage statement
  • Last two paycheck stubs
  • Any documentation of other income (if applicable)
  • Most recent quarter's profit and loss statement (if self-employed)
  • Last two bank statements
  • Balances and monthly statements for all outstanding loans and credit cards
  • Monthly expenses estimate (utilities, medical bills, car/house/auto insurance, etc.)

Please make sure to only bring copies of the above and not the originals.  Panel members for the free foreclosure seminar in Reno include: Jill Perry (Consumer Credit Affiliates), Jeni Temen (NID Housing Counseling Agency), Rhea Gertken (Nevada Legal Services), Ernie Nelson (Washoe County Senior Law Project) and Tim Nelson (Evans, Nelson & Company CPAs).  If you are a homeowner facing foreclosure, I highly recommend attending this free foreclosure seminar in Reno being held by the NSAR and Realtors® Care Nevada.  The information you obtain from this free seminar will be highly valuable.
