Where Do You Go to Vote in Reno

As you should be aware by now, tomorrow is Election Day (November 2, 2010).  What you may be wondering is where do you go to vote in Reno?  Visit the Washoe County Registrar of Voters' web page to see where you can go to vote.  Polling places will be open from 7am to 7pm on November 2, 2010.  The deadline for early registration ended on Friday, October 29, 2010.  Washoe County uses electronic voting machines for Reno residents to use.  "Poll Watchers" will be on hand at polling places to ask voters how they have voted.  Answering their questions are completely voluntary.

You are welcome to bring your sample ballot and any notes you have with you into the voting booth.  Check for your correct polling place located on the back of your sample ballot and get directions beforehand, if necessary, to avoid going to the wrong place.  Bring a photo ID with you for verification.  Read each and every measure before voting (this is where the sample ballot will come in handy).  By doing your research ahead of time, it will decrease the amount of time you spend in the voting booth.

Wherever you go to vote in Reno tomorrow, make sure you get out there and vote.  Each vote really does make a difference.
