Things To Consider When Putting Your Apartment In a Hotel Lease

In my recent podcast, I revealed some of my insights regarding apartments under hotel leases. In my years of experience as a real estate agent in the Auckland apartment market, I noticed that there were apartment owners who were willing to put their property in hotel leases. Now, is this a good idea?

For me personally, I would say no, but there are various reasons why apartment owners place their properties in a hotel lease. All of the factors that compel them to do this are discussed on my podcast. So, if you’re an owner or investor who is aiming to have a hands-off investment and you don’t want to worry about vacancies, then you can go with hotel leases.

However, I would strongly suggest that you check out my podcast, because I will tackle several key points that you need to consider when placing an apartment under a hotel lease. These will include:

·How to properly negotiate with the lessor

·The best way to get the terms that you’re looking for

·How to get the best return for your investment

·How to get an income that is close to what the market rent is
