Chattels, GST and Signing an Agreement

Are you putting in an offer for an apartment in Auckland? Do you know about chattels, GST as well as the things you need to do first before signing an agreement?

As an apartment buyer, you need to know more about chattels and why you should be provided with a chattel list. Chattels should be included in the sale and purchase agreement. This means that the vendor warrants all the fixtures, light fittings and appliances are in good condition. If you’re the purchaser for a particular property, you need to ensure that everything in that property is in good working order prior to your settlement.

I know this topic is a bit technical but it’s important for any buyer to learn more about it. I have a new podcast on my website that tackles chattels, GST and importantly the content of a sale and purchase agreement.
