100% response rate to my first drive for dollars campaign!!

So I took my first step as a real estate investor this week (outside of studying and learning) and went driving for dollars! It took roughly about 3 hours, and despite having to pee the whole time and being too stubborn to take a break, I had a blast!!! 

I was targeting absentee owners, so I was looking for overall disrepair of the house, such as boarded up windows, sunk in roofs, overgrown lawn, and so on. I managed to compile a list of about 80 addresses and after doing research at my local tax assessors website I managed to determine that about 50 of those names were actual absentee owners. So, I hand wrote letters and sent them out two days ago. 

Skip to this morning. I woke up a little nervous knowing that my letters should arrive at their destinations today and I could potentially get my first call at any second!!! However, this did not happen..... the letters arrived at my house instead. 

I guess having a few beers while burning the midnight oil to get all of those letters done wasn't the best idea, because I mixed up the to and from section on the envelopes! See look at me, already learning so much valuable information from my mistakes as a young real estate investor.
