Forum faux pas

RE Report for 12-06-2015

In an attempt to gather ideas and an formulate a plan, I posted on the forums asking for some advice.  "What would you do with $1000?" I got some amazing responses, some pretty lame responses, and responses from folks who clearly didn't read my post, just the title.  I supposed that's bound to happen.

Unfortunately, I also got a little overzealous in my attempt to reach as many BP members as possible and committed an embarrassing faux pas.  I made the same post in two different forums and got called out publicly for it.  Oh, well.  So I learned that once is enough.

On the bright side, a local broker/investor invited me out for coffee and spent an hour and half of his time explaining his business, what he's looking for, and how I could help him.  It was very comforting to meet someone, face to face, one on one, in a no pressure situation and just talk.  He and I seem to be of a like mind on many things so I'm very excited to see where this business relationship goes and add my first potential buyer to my buyers list.

Now to go get that first deal...

Over and out,

Ben
