Bathroom Problems!!!! UGH!!!

I was hoping to save this bathroom, but as usual, I decided that I wasn't comfortable leaving the existing tile because it definitely wasn't waterproofed properly behind the wall tile in the tub surround area.  This is usually the case because the products I use to waterproof didn't exist 20 years ago when this bathroom was probably last renovated.  I've done many bathrooms over the years, and I've never encountered one that used the Schluter brand waterproofing membranes.  I won't tile a bathroom without using these products nowadays.  Pricey, but permanent and worth every penny!
