Why not having a website is costing you money

Cliff, a recent member of our youtube channel, asked a good question the other day and we thought we’d answer it in this video. His question was “do I need a website?” This is a good question, and I think more people will have this question as they gain traction in the non performing note industry. I want to go through four ways a website can make you more money, give you more credibility and more online presence in the note space. Here we go!

Reason 1. A website is a central business hub. You business is a virtual real estate business online, a way people can contact and learn about your products and services you offer. When you have a good looking website, where people can find things easily, people are more prone to look into your services.

Reason 2. Gives you credibility. Nowadays, you need a website to give you credibility. People need to put a face to the name and a website creates this. I like to list all my inventory and where the office is located on our website. If a prospective joint venture partner wants to get in contact with me, I have a page where they can go. Testimonials from previous deals are important too. People like to see that others have conducted business with you and hear about their experience.

Reason 3. A website creates an online presence. In the ever expansive internet, you want to be part of the growing note space. When I mean note space, I talking about the note industry. The note space is a very small part of the real estate investing industry and there is still so much more room to grow. When you have a website about your business, you can tell everyone about it. They can read about your and make a solid business decision if they want to do business with you. You can market your business and conduct business nationwide if you choose. Most note investors have five or less select markets they work in. In a later video, I’ll share with everyone which states I do business in.

Reason 4. You can send traffic and collect leads on your website. Sending traffic to your website is where you can make a lot of money. Let me explain what I mean. So you are networking on LinkedIn and calling asset managers for deals. You are starting to build very good relationships with these people and they are sending you an abundance of deals. After carefully analyzing each tape and choosing which notes you want to bid on you submit your bids to the bank. Five of those bids are accepted, now what? Who do you market to to joint venture with those deals?

A good deal always finds money, but to make it more efficient, you want to send people to your website, collect their contact information to reach out to them at a later date. These investors who come to your site are hungry for deals. A website is that door they pass through to reach you and partner up for those deals. This is where you can build your list fast. Getting investors interested in yourself and your deals will be where your money is made. Keep that in mind.

So, If you don’t have a website, I suggest getting up right now and get one started. If you are on a budget, wix.com has a nice, but limited free platform. Whatever you decide to do, make sure your website represents you well.

Let this sink in.
