I have a flip in Brookside (a nice area of KC near the Plaza). We had issues with the original plans and KCMO not letting us do all we wanted to do. As a flip we will make maybe $5k.
I am rolling around the idea of using it as an Air BNB - I just have little experience with that. I'd love to connect with some experienced vacation rental pro's and especially any who specialize in Kansas City, Brookside, or the Plaza.

I was looking at houses North of the River, but the City of KCMO informed me that residential AirBNBs are currently not permitted (with very few exceptions). They have been working on passing a regulation this past year and currently have been holding meetings for them. Based on their meeting yesterday, it doesn't appear any good news for new Air BNBers like myself that want to join in.

Matt I have rehabbed a few for Nathan He may have some inside info. They seemed to be lucrative in the right area. HE WAS GETTING 300-365/ night for a home near 39th and main.
