Good morning!
I am currently looking into which CRM I want to go with and was wondering what others would recommend? The CRM can be paid or free, I'm just looking for one that has the most value for agents.

I've been using contactually and it's been pretty good. It connects to my android phone and will automatically log when I had a call or a text message with someone.
It also feeds into gmail and collects the emails on the clients contact card in the CRM.
It also allows you to "bucket" customers which sets them to automatic reminders for follow up. You can also run email campaigns out of it, but I use it for more of a follow up system.

The best CRM is just having one. Too many agents don't have a structured database at all. It's amazing to me that they survive.
The old standard in the industry has been Top Producer. I see some of the newer, productive agents using Buffini Referral Maker CRM program. I've heard good things about Moxi Works as well.
If you a pulling leads off the internet, Real Geeks is a good capture and CRM program.

I use Contactually as well and like the features/functions and integrations that it offers. I used Top Producer for a while, but found it to be a bit cumbersome and since I'm in a smaller market I wasn't able to utilize all the features that the platform offers.
Most paid service CRM's offer a trial period, so I'd suggest narrowing it down to 2 platforms and sign-up for a free trial to get a feel for how they function. It should help give you an idea of which CRM will best suit your needs.
I absolutely agree with @David Warren, simply having a CRM is a step ahead of most in the industry.

Thanks for the advice everyone! I'm coming from a Software Development background so I wouldn't think of doing this without having a CRM. @Anthony Angotti I'm mainly looking for a CRM that I can use for a follow up system. I think thats the most important thing to me starting out.

@Josh Sisley then Contactually is the best one IMO and I tried out a few.
Their bucket system and app work well and it ties everything together. I don't need all the campaign functionality and don't do much in the way of paid leads so contactually worked wonders for helping me keep track of everyone.

@Josh Sisley if you're just looking for a crm for follow up and not idx or lead gen then I highly recommend follow up boss. It's open source so you can do almost anything you want with it. In conjunction with Infusionsoft it's pretty wicked. Good luck!

I use Perfect Storm and I love it! I use the cam and website but you can use just the CRM portion. I find that it is super user friendly and the client use on my website through them is more than double than in the past. I would also like to mention that their tech support people are amazingly fast to respond and have helped personalize my website so it works for the way I do business. I love it!
If you don't want to spend the money LionDesk I found to suffice more than most others I tried.
