My dad and I are relatively new to real estate investing and have a close contact who has purchased a 16 unit there. We are ready and hungry to find deals and take action and from a general standpoint, Puerto Rico looks like a good place to buy mostly for a vacation home and possibly just as a rental. My dad is flying down in July to get on the ground to meet with a contact we have and get better details but I wanted to reach out to the BiggerPockets wide variety of intelligence and see if anyone has more insights to Puerto Rico and any advice that we could use.
