Rent my apartment

Good evening, everyone I’m looking to rent my 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom apartment in Garfield New Jersey. I’m having a hard time finding a tenant. I bought the house last month and I need on what free platform to place my apartment to get more exposure. I’m looking to rent it for 2900 dollars, and it’s in a great area a block away from an park and great neighborhood for kids.

Xavier, at $2,900/month, your biggest challenge may not be exposure alone—it may also be pricing relative to competing rentals in Garfield. If you're priced correctly, a well-marketed 3-bedroom in a good neighborhood should generate consistent interest.

    I'd recommend:

    • Post on Facebook Marketplace (one of the best free sources for local renters).
    • List on Zillow Rentals (free for many listings).
    • Use Apartments.com, HotPads, and Craigslist.
    • Share it in local Garfield, Bergen County, and Passaic County Facebook groups.
    • If you're working with a Realtor®, have them place it on the MLS, which syndicates to numerous rental websites and reaches agents with qualified tenants.

Also, make sure your listing includes:

    • Professional, well-lit photos.
    • A floor plan if available.
    • Square footage.
    • Parking details.
    • Pet policy.
    • Laundry information.
    • School district.
    • Nearby parks, transportation, and shopping.

Sometimes a small adjustment in price or simply improving the presentation can dramatically increase inquiries.

Best of luck—I hope you find a great tenant soon!
