Charlotte has definitely become a competitive market for infill lots. In addition to the MLS, I'd keep an eye on local builders, wholesalers, and county surplus or tax sale listings. Sometimes the best opportunities never make it to the public market.

    finding infill lots in charlotte can definitely be tough. i'd start by spending a lot of time driving neighborhoods you like, looking for overgrown or vacant-looking parcels. many aren't listed anywhere. then, note down the addresses or parcel numbers. you can often find the owner information through the mecklenburg county gis (geographic information system) map online.

    also, check the county tax records for properties with older homes that have a high land value relative to the structure's value -- those are often good tear-down candidates. finally, keep an eye on probate court records; sometimes, heirs want to sell vacant land quickly. it takes legwork, but that's where the good deals are often found.

    You may have done so already, but if not, would recommend

    https://polaris3g.mecklenburgcountync.gov/. Great tool to search and look into property records, parcel ownership, etc.
